The Humans of United*

We don’t believe in spiritual hierarchies.

These are just a few of the folks helping organize, hold space, and serve alongside you as we learn what it means to follow Jesus — together.

You might see us preaching, singing, managing the blessed chaos of church logistics, directing justice-fueled music, welcoming new folks, or just holding space for the questions that don’t have easy answers.

Whether you show up online or in person, these are some of the humans you might bump into.

*Yes, these ones are on staff. No, they’re not the boss of you.

Lead Pastor

Bio:

Jordan Minnich Kjesbo is a pastor, professor, and punk prophet trying to follow Jesus in real time. He leads United with a commitment to radical welcome, justice-rooted theology, and creating spaces where students, seekers, and saints find belonging.

Before ministry, Jordan worked in audio engineering and production — which explains his conflicted relationship with the tech booth, his love of post-rock and indie bands that sound super pretentious, and his use of the occasional chaotic metaphor. His path to pastoral leadership wasn’t linear (or tame), and that’s exactly what shaped his calling. After years in academic and missional spaces, he’s now focused on building something real: a church that takes Jesus seriously, but not itself.

Jordan has taught theology and biblical studies at Kairos University, Messiah University, and Garrett Seminary, and has presented on cross-cultural hermeneutics and decolonized theology with the Evangelical Missiological Society. His theological voice is influenced by Tillich, Derrida, Susanna Wesley, and a deep love for the questions that refuse to be silenced.

He’s married to Faith — a fierce, funny, justice-loving partner in life and ministry — and together they’re raising Hazel and Henry, who constantly remind them that sacred things are rarely quiet. You can usually find Jordan in a coffee shop with a notebook, in the gym pushing weights, or at church reimagining everything.
